WipChip

WipChip and WipChip Momentum are for the Pulp, Paper and wood manufacturing industries and provide ad hoc or in-situ measurement of woodchip size distribution. Monitoring chip size helps maintain consistent quality, assess chipper wear and ultimately save energy while improving yields.

Pulp, Paper and wood manufacturing industry rely on a quality source of woodchips to ensure a quality product. Woodchips that are mixed with contaminents or that are ill-sized may result in paper and/or wood products with flaws which degrade quakity,. With WipChip all you need is an image sample and less than a second to have all the numerical data you need to make critical decisions.

How it Works:

STEP 1 -  Capture image from analog or digital video or open image on storage device
